Research Interests

I am a Marine Biologist within the Pacific Islands Fish and Wildlife Office of the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service in Honolulu, Hawaii. I have a PhD in Marine Biology from the University of Hawaii at Manoa where I studied the MCEs of American Samoa. I am particularly interested in the macro-ecology and biodiversity of MCEs in the Pacific basin. My geographic experience in MCEs is between the Hawaiian Archipelago and American Samoa. Currently, I am led principal investigator of a multi-year project to further study the MCEs of American Samoa. My main areas of interest are scleractinian and antipatharian corals with a general interest in all taxa.
